Vol. 475 No. 1

Written Answers. - Foxhunting Practices.

Tony Gregory

Question:

273 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry further to his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 125 of 12 February 1997, if he will review the current practice and consider giving appropriate advice to fox hunts on a regular basis as appropriate. [4459/97]

I, of course, wish to minimise any risk of spreading diseases affecting livestock and have asked my Department to consider what further measures might be taken by way of the dissemination of information and advice in this regard.
