287 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications if plans for an industrial and business park at Cork Airport have, in recent times, been significantly advanced; the status of the proposal at the current time; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4394/97]

The proposal for the development of a business park at Cork Airport has been approved in principle by my Department and is being actively pursued by Aer Rianta.

Detailed proposals for the development will be submitted to my Department in due course.
