49 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for Health the extent and availability of respite and residential care facilities for persons with chronic epilepsy, particularly for those without additional learning disabilities and physical disabilities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Limerick East): Residential and respite services for persons with chronic epilepsy, where required, are provided by health boards or voluntary organisations on the basis of need in existing facilities provided for people with physical disabilities.
