Vol. 475 No. 2

Written Answers. - Dublin Port Tunnel.

Ivor Callely

Question:

84 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for the Environment the submissions, if any, he has received in connection with the proposed Dublin Port Tunnel; the consideration, if any, he has given such submissions; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4570/97]

A total of 638 written submissions in relation to the likely effects on the environment of the proposed Dublin Port Tunnel were received within the specified period. I will take these into account in reaching a decision on the proposed development, including the motorway scheme, when the latter is submitted to me by Dublin Corporation.
