Tom Moffatt

Question:

149 Dr. Moffatt asked the Minister for Education if she will retain the four teachers and parttime remedial teacher in a national school (details supplied) in County Mayo. [5250/97]

Final decisions have not yet been made regarding the staffing allocations for primary schools for the 1997-98 school year. However, as soon as the allocations are determined, the needs of the school referred to by the Deputy will be considered.

The school will continue to retain the services of a remedial teacher for the 1997-98 school year.
