Vol. 475 No. 5

Written Answers - Garda Stations.

Mary Coughlan

Question:

174 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for Justice when work will commence on the refurbishment of the Garda station in Killybegs, County Donegal; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [5334/97]

A report on the works required at Killybegs Garda station, with an estimate of the likely costs, has been received from the Office of Public Works. The Garda housing officer has indicated he will be visiting this station in early April. A decision is expected following this visit in relation to the works recommended having regard to overall priorities and the availability of finance.
