126 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Education the progress, if any, made to date on the urgent requirement for an extension at the Loreto secondary school, Clonmel, County Tip-perary; and the date on which site works will begin. [5564/97]
The planning and building unit of my Department is examining the developed sketch scheme for the proposed extension to the Loreto secondary school, Clonmel and will be in contact with the school authorities in the near future about further progress.
At this stage of architectural planning, I am not in a position to indicate when the project will proceed to construction. However, every effort will be made to advance the project through the various stages of planning to enable tenders to be sought and site works to commence as soon as possible.
