Question:144 Mr. Mulvihill asked the Minister for Education when she will allocate grant-aid to facilitate the activities of the Midleton Boy Scouts, County Cork; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6101/97]
Written Answers. - Recreational Facilities Scheme.
My Department will consider the application from Midleton Boy Scouts when decisions are being made on grant allocations this year under the recreational facilities scheme.
I would point out, however, that my Department has over 1,000 applications on hand with relatively limited funds available.
