Vol. 475 No. 8

Written Answers. - Orthodontic Service.

Eamon Walsh

Question:

88 Mr. E. Walsh asked the Minister for Health if he will have arrangements made for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 24 to have orthodontic treatment and any preliminary work required carried out after a wait of four years, to enable this person to have her just entitlement; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6148/97]

Limerick East): As the provision of orthodontic treatment and dental treatment to eligible persons in Dublin 24 is the statutory responsibility of the Eastern Health Board I have asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
