The school bus requested by the Deputy for pupils in the Killeen area of Louisburgh, County Mayo, was advertised by Bus Éireann on 29 January 1997. One tender was received to provide an additional bus. This tender, together with an alternative proposed from Bus Éireann to improve existing services in the area are being considered by my Department. The Deputy will be advised of the outcome in due course.
