Question:186 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Justice if she will expedite a dealing with the Land Registry for a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [6564/97]
Written Answers. - Registration of Title.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to an application under section 49 (i.e. acquisition of title by virtue of long possession) of the Registration of Title Act, 1964 which was lodged on 25 October 1996. I understand that this case is associated with another application on which a query has been raised and a reply is awaited from applicant's solicitor. The matter cannot proceed until the query raised has been satisfactorily discharged. It is not possible, therefore, to estimate a completion time at this stage.
