200 Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Justice when an application for registration of a possessory title in respect of persons (details supplied) in County Galway, which has been lodged with the Land Registry since 1993, will be completed; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [6814/97]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to an application for First Registration which was lodged on 8 June 1993. There are a number of difficult issues to be resolved in this application including the nature of the title involved and the interests of the State in the foreshore. It is not, therefore, possible to estimate a completion date at this stage.
