90 Mr. Doherty asked the Minister for Education if she will allocate funding in respect of the completion of Phase II of the community sports complex at St. Nathy's College, Ballaghaderreen, County Roscommon; and if so, the amount she proposes to allocate. [7181/97]

There is an application in the sports section of my Department seeking assistance under the national lottery funded sports capital programme towards the provision of a sports hall at St. Nathy's College.

This application will be considered when decisions are being made on the allocation of grants under the programme later this year in the context of the increasing demand for funding from other sports and community groups.
