Question:98 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Education the progress, if any, to date in relation to the conferral of full-time status on the Cavan Education Centre; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [7301/97]
Written Answers. - Education Centres.
As the Deputy will be aware from my reply on 4 February last, officials in my Department are currently examining the detailed oral and written presentation made by members of the Cavan centre's management committee regarding the future status of the centre. This examination is taking place in the context of the announced plan for the development of the education centre network and in the context of the available resources.
I again assure the Deputy that every consideration will be given to the case presented and a decision conveyed to the committee as soon as possible.
