Written Answers. - Departmental Safety Policy.
My Department prepared a safety statement some time ago. As is normal in such a process, staff interests are consulted for any observations they may wish to make. The views of two of the unions who represent staff interests in the Department are awaited. As soon as this process is complete, the statement will be adopted and a safety officer formally designated.
