Question:

56 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Health if he will request the relevant health board to pay all due travel costs to a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who had to travel daily for 20 days for treatment for a serious illness. [7313/97]

Limerick East): I have had inquiries made of the Midland Health Board concerning this case and have been assured that the board is favourably disposed towards providing financial assistance for all of the costs incurred.
