Question:82 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Education when she will make matching funds available for the proposed extension to the Regional Technical College, County Sligo. [7172/97]
Written Answers. - Schools Building Projects.
A sum of £2.2 million remains available for investment in the new library-information technology and central administration block at Sligo Regional Technical College under the National Development Plan 1994 to 1999. A 25 per cent Exchequer component is included in this sum. The question of matching funds therefore does not arise in respect of this particular project.
Consultations are ongoing between the Department and the college authorities with regard to the phasing of the project.
