143 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for the Environment when the complete figures for the number of electors in each constituency will be released in view of the fact that electoral registers have been compiled in each local authority in the country. [7713/97]
The register of electors is published by each registration authority which provide my Department with details of the number of persons included in their register. Returns are outstanding from a number of local authorities, and these have been asked to send the returns to my Department without further delay. I will provide the complete information to the Deputy as soon as it is available.
