211 Mrs. O'Rourke asked the Minister for Justice if she will review the case of a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath who has entered an application to open a petition under section 23 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1951. [7435/97]

An application to open a petition has been received in my Department by way of this parliamentary question. No decision has yet been made on opening a petition. A decision will be conveyed to the Deputy in due course.
