278 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Defence if his attention has been drawn to a recent statement that Castleblayney Military Post will be closed; the plans, if any, there are in this regard; whether there is any substance in this statement as issued to the media; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have made it abundantly clear as Minister for Defence that the question of barrack closures does not arise. Barrack closures are not part of the Defence Forces Review Implementation Plan.
