61 Dr. O'Hanlon asked the Minister for Finance the projects which have benefited from peace and reconciliation funding in counties Monaghan and Cavan; and the amount of funding provided in each case. [7488/97]
The special support programme for peace and reconciliation in Northern Ireland and the Border counties of Ireland involves delivery of funding for a wide range of actions under measures dealing with employment, social inclusion, urban and rural regeneration, cross-Border co-operation and economic development generally.
Much of the programme is delivered through devolved mechanisms, viz., intermediary funding bodies such as Area Development Management Ltd., Combat Poverty and Co-operation North.
