Vol. 476 No. 5

Written Answers - Medical Cards.

Brian Cowen

Question:

77 Mr. Cowen asked the Minister for Health if a medical card has been made available to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly. [7368/97]

Limerick East): The determination of eligibility for a medical card is a matter for the chief executive officer of the relevant health board. I have, accordingly, referred the Deputy's question to the chief executive officer of the Midland Health Board for investigation and have requested him to reply directly to the Deputy.
