74 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Health the amount of money provided through his Department to the North-Eastern Health Board for each of the years from 1986 to date for the provision of home helps. [7789/97]

Limerick East): As the Deputy may be aware, it is a matter for each health board, within the overall financial allocation notified by my Department, to decide the level of funding for the home help service.

I have been informed by the North-Eastern Health Board that the following amounts have been allocated for the home help service in each of the years referred to in the question as follows:
