Question:193 Mr. Dempsey asked the Minister for the Environment if a grant allocated to a person (details supplied) in County Meath for house repairs ten years ago under the home improvement grant scheme is still valid. [7906/97]

A grant was not approved in this case. An incomplete application form received from the applicant was returned to her to be fully completed and was not received back in the Department by 27 March 1987, when the grants scheme was terminated.
