As the official representative of the Irish Government I visited New York and Montreal between Friday, 14 March and Monday 17 March 1997. My duties included representing the Government at various Irish-American events in both cities. I was accompanied by two officials.

The Minister of State at my Department represented the Irish Government at St. Patrick's Day celebrations and various Irish-American events in Milwaukee and Kansas City between the 14 and 18 March 1997. The Minister of State was accompanied by two officials.

At present I do not have the total cost figure of the visits in question.
