326 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for Justice the proposals, if any, she has to upgrade the existing accommodation at a Garda station (details supplied) in County Cavan or to provide new accommodation; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [8356/97]

The Garda housing officer is scheduled to inspect this station to decide what work should be undertaken. Any work recommended by him will be undertaken in the context of available finance and other priorities.
