Question:

372 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to pay the balance of cattle and sheep grants for 1996 to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will give the reason for the delay in making these payments. [7904/97]

The person named submitted applications under the 1996 sheep headage, cattle headage, suckler cow and ewe premium schemes. He has been paid in full under all schemes in accordance with the acreage restrictions and stocking density limits as set out in the relevant EU and national rules.
