Question:416 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for Defence if funding will be made available for repairs to a roadway leading to the residence of a person (details supplied) and that of others in County Cork. [7964/97]

It is proposed to arrange later this year for roadworks to be undertaken on the eastern side of Bere Island in an area used intensively by the Defence Forces. My Department has no proposals at present to undertake road repairs elsewhere on the island.
