160 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education the grants, if any, which are available to enable a person (details supplied) in County Mayo who is a slow learner, to attend a private secondary school where he can get the remedial teaching and attention he needs. [8611/97]

There is no scheme for the payment of grants in respect of remedial education at a private second level school.
