Written Answers - Schools Building Projects.

Question:

182 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Education if she will give details of each national school for which funding has been approved for building projects under the 1997 Departmental Estimates; when it is proposed to issue a further list of schools for which funding will be approved during 1997; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [8964/97]

I recently announced 26 major primary school projects for release to tender. As the expenditure profile of the capital programme is reviewed I will be in a position to see if there is scope to release further projects.

Following are the details of each national school for which funding has been approved for building projects under the 1997 Departmental Estimates:

County Cork:

Conna national school.

Gaelscoil Choráin, Youghal.

Scoil Trieste, Lota, Glanmore.

Crab Lane, Ballintemple.

Ballinlough (Our Lady of Lourdes NS).

Ballycotton national school.

County Donegal:

Scoil Bhríde, Convoy.

County Dublin:

Our Lady of Wayside national school, Kilternan, County Dublin.

County Galway:

St. Augustine's national school, Clontuskert.

Kilglass national school.

County Kerry:

St. John's national school, Tralee.

Naomh Pádraig Measc, Caharleheen (Ballyseedy).

Knockaderry national school (Farranfore).

County Kildare:

Allen national school.

Kilmeade national school.

County Leitrim:

St. Joseph's Convent, Mohill.

County Louth:

Knockbridge national school, Dundalk.

Tallanstown national school, Dundalk.

County Meath:

Longwood national school.

Rathcairn national school.

Ratoath national school.

County Mayo:

Rathbane national school.

County Monaghan:
