Vol. 477 No. 2

Written Answers - School Transport.

Michael Ring

Question:

186 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Education if a person (details supplied) in County Mayo is entitled to free school transport in view of the fact that he is attending primary school and his parents are medical card holders. [8968/97]

My Department received this request for free transport on 26 March 1997. However, no details of the schools were supplied. I understand the Deputy has been requested to submit the name of the primary school concerned. As soon as this information is received the matter will be examined and the Deputy will be informed of the position.
