Vol. 477 No. 2

Written Answers - Postal Delays.

Ned O'Keeffe

Question:

315 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications if he will have examinations made into the difficulties which have arisen in relation to the serious delays in having post delivered to post offices throughout the north Cork area; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that often the post is up to one and a half hours late in the morning; and if his attention has further been drawn to the fact that such delays have occurred since the change over by An Post from use of railway to road. [8692/97]

Matters of this kind are day-to-day ones for An Post in which I have no function.
