322 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications the total number of staff in his ministerial offices and his Minister of State's offices; if he will give a breakdown of the status of all staff, whether temporary civil servants, permanent or non-established; if he will give comparison figures for the years 1988, 1993, 1995 and 1996; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The information sought by the Deputy is set out in the following schedules. As my Department was only formed in 1993, I can only provide comparative figures from that year onwards.
