I would refer the Deputy to my reply of 4 March 1997 where I gave details of the establishment by my Department of a working group on illegal and harmful use of the Internet. Since the Government's decision on 11 February last to establish the group, it has met on two occasions and is studying written submissions from the members. I understand that a number of sub-groups have already been formed to study specific aspects of the terms of reference and preparations are being made to obtain the views of a wide range of interested parties on the issues involved.
