Vol. 477 No. 3

Written Answers. - Garda Investigations.

Robert Molloy

Question:

36 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for Justice the status of the investigation and prosecution of a murder case (details supplied); whether there has been delay in the processing of this prosecution; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [9202/97]

It is not the normal practice for the Minister for Justice to make statements to the House about the progress of individual Garda investigations. All I propose to say in this case is that I have been informed by the Garda authorities that a file in the matter has been forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
