58 Mr. Connolly asked the Minister for Justice the number of complaints which have been dealt with under the Garda complaints procedure in each of the past three years; and the way in which each of the complaints has been classified and dealt with. [9112/97]

Minister for Justice (Mrs. Owen):

The information requested by the Deputy is published in the annual reports of the Garda Síochána Complaints Board which are submitted to me by the board. Copies of the 1994 and 1995 reports are available in the Oireachtas Library. I have not yet received the 1996 report.
