67 Mr. Lawlor asked the Minister for Education the current position on the proposals for a sports hall at Pobalscoil Iosolde in Palmerstown, Dublin 20; whether all the relevant building, educational and financial aspects of the project have been cleared; and the date on which construction will commence. Officials in my Department's post primary building unit have examined the feasibility study submitted in respect of the proposals in question. A meeting will need to be held between the Department and representatives of the school and the community council to discuss the building, educational and financial aspects of the project. This meeting is currently being arranged.
My Department has not yet made a final decision on the proposed sports hall for Pobalscoil Iosolde, but it is expected that this meeting will assist the decision-making process.
