Vol. 477 No. 4

Written Answers. - Garda Investigations.

Ivor Callely

Question:

84 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Justice if her attention has been drawn to the fact that Garda response to petty crime is prioritised and more serious crimes take precedent; if her attention has further been drawn to the unacceptable lapse of time before gardaí arrive to assist in what the gardaí deem petty crime; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [9398/97]

I refer the Deputy to my answer of 9 April 1997 to Parliamentary Question No. 130.
