Vol. 477 No. 4

Written Answers. - Consultancy Costs.

Tony Killeen

Question:

94 Mr. Killeen asked the Minister for Tourism and Trade the amount which was spent on consultants' fees by his Department and by semi-State companies under the aegis of his Department in 1995 and 1996; the consultants which were employed; and the work which was undertaken by them. [9464/97]

My Department paid out £96,600.34 and £114,712.92 on consultancies in 1995 and 1996 respectively. I will circulate the details in tabular form.

As to the State-sponsored bodies under my aegis, this is an operational matter for the bodies concerned, for which I do not have any function.
