97 Mr. Davern asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment if he has received a request from Tipperary South Riding County Council to receive a deputation to discuss the unemployment situation in Cahir; if he will receive the deputation; if so, when; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I confirm that I have received such a request from Tipperary South Riding County Council. This request was put to me in the context of a proposed visit by me to the area which has subsequently fallen through. I will be in touch with the council in relation to the proposed meeting in the near future.
