Vol. 477 No. 5

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Frank Crowley

Question:

309 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a permit to restock will be issued and a reactor grant paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [9806/97]

The herdowner in question contacted Cork District Veterinary Office regarding permission to buy in animals into the holding, which remains restricted, and was advised to apply in writing. To date no request has been received.

Reactor grants in respect of five reactors disclosed in herd test on 12 December 1996 have not yet been processed as the herdowner has not supplied all the relevant documentation. The district veterinary office has been in contact with the herdowner in question about the outstanding documentation.
