337 Mr. Leonard asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications if the contract awarded to a company (details supplied) has been officially ratified between his Department and the company; and if so, the date on which this took place. [9516/97]

The company (details supplied) was informed of my decision on 26 February 1997, prior to the official announcement. The question of "official ratification" does not arise.
