Question:

67 Mr. Callely asked the Taoiseach the growth, if any, of the Irish export market over the past 12 months; the markets with highest growth for that period; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9394/97]

The latest month for which data are available is October 1996. The exports during the period January-October 1996 were £24.6 billion, compared with £22.7 billion for the corresponding period of 1995, an increase of 8.4 per cent. The table shows the countries where the largest increase occured.
