142 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education if she will give details of the submission made to her Department by the Dublin Institute of Technology in relation to the future development of the Eastern Health Board lands at Grangegorman, Dublin 7. [10484/97]
An interim report and campus development plan for the Dublin Institute of Technology has been received by my Department. The plan shows, in outline form, how the Grangegorman site might be developed if acquired by the Institute. While consultations are ongoing between officials of my Department and Dublin Institute of Technology, no final decision regarding this development will be taken by my Department until Grangegorman or other appropriate sites are found to be acceptable in terms of cost and suitability.
