180 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for Education the position in relation to staffing allocations for primary schools for the 1997-98 school year; and if she will make a statement on when a decision will be made in this regard. [10712/97]
I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the staffing allocations for primary schools for the 1997-98 school year are being finalised. My officials are currently preparing a circular in this matter which will issue very shortly to all boards of management and principal teachers of primary schools.
