195 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Justice the current position in relation to the search for a site in Ballymun for a new Garda station; and if the recently vacated ESB office block on Ballymun Road is under consideration. [10579/97]

As yet the Office of Public Works has not identified a suitable site in the Ballymum area on which to build a new Garda station. The recently vacated ESB office block in Ballymun was considered but deemed unsuitable for Garda purposes.
