Vol. 478 No. 1

Written Answers. - Farm Retirement Pensions.

Ned O'Keeffe

Question:

230 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will have arrangements made to have payment of 50 per cent of a farm retirement pension issued directly to a person (details supplied) in County Cork. [10400/97]

Under this scheme, payment of the farm retirement pension may only be made to the approved applicant. Arrangements may be made, if requested by the approved applicant, to pay the pension into a joint bank account.
