40 Ms O'Donnell asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the public health implications posed by the widespread dumping of cattle carcases; the action, if any, his Department has taken in this regard; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [8135/97]

I am not aware that there is widespread dumping of cattle carcases.
