It is proposed, notwithstanding anything is Standing Orders or anything in the Orders of the Dáil for this day, that the Second Stage of the Licensing (Combating Drug Abuse) Bill, 1997, shall be taken today and the proceedings thereon, if not previously concluded, shall be brought to a conclusion at 11.45 p.m. This is being done to accede to requests made by both Opposition spokespersons.
