Byrne asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the necessity for an extension at Adamstown vocational college, County Wexford, consisting of six classrooms and other facilities; the proposals, if any, she has to resolve this accommodation problem at the school; and if she will make a statement on the matter. An application for the provision of temporary accommodation for Adamstown vocational school, County Wexford is under consideration in my Department at present. This application is being examined in terms of enrolment, future viability and cost implications.
As soon as a decision is reached County Wexford Vocational Education Committee will be informed.

My Department is aware of the accommodation requirements of Kilmuckridge vocational school, County Wexford.
The appointment of a design team is currently being considered for architectural planning of an extension to this school.
County Wexford Vocational Education Committee will be notified when a decision is made.

Byrne asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the proposals to cover the arcade at New Ross vocational college, County Wexford; the proposals, if any, she has to make provision for works to be carried out; if so, when works will commence; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Application has been made by County Wexford Vocational Education Committee for funding for the glazing-in of a cloister at New Ross vocational school, County Wexford. My Department is currently awaiting documentation in relation to this application. When the architectural planning of the project has been successfully completed the commencement of work on the project will be dependent on available resources and competing priorities.
